What to Expect…
We arrive early to set up the training area and equipment. Depending on the group size, we will split them between trainers - so the kids are always involved and engaged!
We ask that your OSHC staff will be around assisting with supervision (They’re also welcome to put on some gloves and get stuck into it with the kids!)
Our safety briefing is paramount to the session. We outline the rules, including no fighting, punching or kicking other students. It is not a fight club - we do not spar or fight - any striking is solely on large protective pads.
Our trainers then guide the kids through easy-to-learn Muay Thai techniques (like punches, knees, kicks, and movement). We discuss self-defense and use demonstrations to instill these learnings.
Fundamentally - we provide fun fitness challenges and team-based games to keep the energy and vibes high! We finish the session with some special prizes for sportsmanship, inclusion and effort.

If your service has more than 80 children attending on the day, we recommend booking a morning and afternoon session.
This allows us to run two sessions (2 hours each), ensuring every child gets the full Young-Spirit experience with safe and engaging trainer-to-child ratios.
